Happy Campers puts practice and support at the center of the course. Students are provided with ample opportunities to practice all of the new language using musicalized presentations which build memory and hone listening and pronunciation skills. The series has a gently paced syllabus which can be extended and adjusted to allow for mixed-ability classes. The centerpiece of the series is the flipbook which contains a Student's Book and The Language Lodge, a full workbook focusing on vocabulary and grammar.

Frontloading vocabulary and grammar means that students are presented with all of the unit vocabulary and grammar by lesson 4, giving teachers time to practice and review it throughout the rest of the unit.

Musical imagery repetition in the form of songs, vocabulary echoes, grammar cheers and sound outs help learners retain language, hone listening skills and develop pronunciation and intonation.

Consistent practice of specific reading, listening, and writing skills help students develop and consolidate these skills.
